new projects.

just some quick projects that have been finished the last couple of days. 

i had some fun playing with a build your own cupcake kit--and loved this quote found on a cookie jar at that super fun flea market i told y'all about a few weeks ago! the colors just pop and i love it! 

this bottle cover started out as a scarf but then i got tired of knitting. :) love the contrast of the glass and the yarn. so pretty in my kitchen! 

a living history.

i do believe it is safe to say that i have become obsessed with my family tree! my mom visited today and brought lists of her side of the family--love that my history stems from sweden and holland. AND that i can be traced back to sir francis drake...yes, the pirate, sir francis drake. good history, right? 

so, to tie all of these family members together, im now dreaming of something like this to show everyone off!
