this lovely was shipped just a few weeks ago & i couldn't help but share. a cute girl had saved all of her soccer shirts & her momma wanted to make sure they were kept as a memory. from her very first soccer team to her state championship shirt, we've got them all & this blanket is begging to be used on a chilly night!

seriously, i had NO idea oklahoma was this windy. wow. i mean, don't get me wrong, i knew oklahoma was a place "where the wind comes sweepin' down the plain" but really? this is just ridiculous! :) i had an awful time snapping a shot of this lovely blanket for the sorrick family, though i think i finally figured it out! :)

i finished up audra's blanket this past weekend and love the end result! this blanket includes shirts from her mission trips, ciy conferences, and many other memories from high school. L.O.V.E. the backing-seriously, i want to buy the entire bolt of it just so i can look at it!

just finished audra's blanket and loved the memories that came rushing back just from seeing her shirts! audra and i have been great friends since we were in elementary school. i remember her super cool lunch box and she remembers my handwriting. :) love it.so.much.

my favorite shirt of hers. :) it reminds me of junior high.

amy b. just has the best ideas! you might have seen her daughter's blanket on the blog this past spring, but this is her latest and greatest. she has gathered t-shirts from her daughter's classmates and has put them in a blanket for a little girl moving to the east coast! what a fun way for her to remember her classmates! each shirt was personalized for her and held a memory! so very creative!

 

this fabric was such a fun find-i mean, really, what girl wouldn't LOVE it?!?!

what a windy, windy day!

tulsa has got to be the windiest city that i have lived in! taking pictures in my normal location is just not working out, so for now, you will have to just enjoy the pictures shot in my lovely living room today!

ok, so really just two blankets today..not three! :) i do, though, have several more lined up and am ready to start on them tomorrow! for now, let's just see the two i finished up this afternoon! 

this first one is for my lovely little sister and is made up of the majority of her shirts from college heights christian school. what a walk down memory lane for her and me both-chcs saw us grow from tiny 1st graders to seniors in high school! 

this second blanket is for a dear friend, robyn! the first of her two blankets is made up of tshirts from her years as a razorback. love the color combination-and the fact that it is memories of the wonderful university of arkansas!

i have just finished my second blanket of the five total i have! yay! love the idea behind this first one-a group of friends got t-shirts together for a mutual friend's birthday and wrote sweet messages on their respective shirts! what a great way to save memories of friendships! 

and this super fun blanket belongs to my roomie-love how it turned out!
